U.S. TOP SKI DESTINATION; COLORADO HAS PLENTY TO OFFER The world's most popular skiing destination is now the United States, according to recent data from the Conde Nast Traveler. U.S. ski resorts saw a six percent hike in ski and snowboard visitors during the 2015-16 season for a total of 53.9 million, beating out France and Switzerland, the top ski countries in the world. Since ski season is right around the corner, we thought it would be a good idea to take a look at some of the best ski resorts in Colorado, according to last year's Conde Nast Traveler's 20 Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. and Canada. Here are the Colorado resorts that made the cut:
