DOWNTOWN DENVER'S SUMMER MIX EXTRAVAGANZA

Downtown Denver will be hopping this summer with all the events that are part of the Downtown Denver Summer Mix.

The series of programs and initiatives, sponsored by the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Downtown Denver Business Improvement District, is designed to engage residents, visitors and employees with the sites and sounds of summer in downtown parks and public spaces.

Featured summer programs include:
  • Skyline Beer Garden is 40,000 square feet of outdoor space with open air and tented seating in Skyline Park will be open from June 9 through October 7 offering a communal Oktoberfest-style area that includes games like ping pong and miniature golf, a beer garden and casual fare like brats, burgers and pretzels.

  • The Square on 21st will establish a new parklike public space between the Ballpark and Arapahoe Square neighborhoods where people can relax in the shade, play lawn games, sip early morning coffee and sample late-night eats.

  • Downtown Loop will transform out the public right-of-way that’s used downtown by linking neighborhoods and connecting people through the urban outdoors by prioritizing people and bikes through the creation of a 5.280-mile loop.

  • Meet in the Street returns for a fourth year to offer residents and guests new experiences by transforming the 16th Street Mall with activities ranging from expanded outdoor cafes  and live music to fitness classes, cultural performances and more taking place on Saturdays from July 8 through August 26.
