		PHOTO OF THE MONTH Pier 72, Brooklyn Naval Yard, NYC Dock 72 is the first ground-up office building to be built in Brooklyn in nearly 30 years. The interiors lean heavily on an industrial aesthetic with beautiful splashes of warm wood to create a warm, hospitality-like environment. Details were inspired by the structure of ships, sail patterns, industrial elements and materials found in the Yard itself. A color palette and “story” was carefully curated and inspired by the vibrant color, texture and patina within the Navy Yard, and inspiration was drawn from sun-faded colors of the ships passing through and architectural materials employed in the historic Admirals Row.
