DID YOU KNOW
Dr. Seuss has a house in Alaska
Nestled deep within the enchanting Alaskan woods, you'll discover a charming residence affectionately known as the "Dr. Seuss' House" by locals. It only takes one look to understand why this whimsical nickname fits so perfectly. The house boasts a towering 185-foot-tall structure that resembles layers of a wedding cake.
The mastermind behind this extraordinary home, Phillip Weidner, originally envisioned a modest two-story log cabin. However, his passion for engineering quickly took over. With each new idea, another floor was added, and then another, until it became a mesmerizing maze of 14 to 17 floors, depending on the route you take to reach the top. It's a house that defies convention and invites adventure.
