HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU REALLY NEED TO ...

Ever catch yourself daydreaming about traveling the globe, eating at the world’s best restaurants, or maybe even living in your own private Batcave? Some dreams are big, bold—and come with a hefty price tag. But it’s fun to imagine! Here's a look at how much cash it really takes to live out some of the most jaw-dropping experiences money can buy.

BUY YOUR OWN PRIVATE ISLAND
A remote island escape? Yes, please! Prices start in the six figures for bare land, but if you want a home, power, and privacy, think millions. And don’t forget the ongoing costs—maintenance, staff, and security to name a few.

ATTEND EVERY MAJOR SPORTS EVENT IN A YEAR
From the Super Bowl to Wimbledon and the Olympics, sports superfans can expect to spend $50,000 to $250,000 to attend them all—especially if you want prime seats, VIP perks, and global travel.

BUY AND FLY YOUR OWN PRIVATE JET
A small private jet starts around $3 million, but big, luxury jets can top $50 million - just to purchase the jet. Then there are the yearly costs - such as fuel, storage, crew, and upkeep - which will push your costs in the high six to seven figures annually.

DINE ONLY AT MICHELIN-STARRED RESTAURANTS
If every meal has to come with stars, get ready to fork over at least $100,000 a year. A single dinner at a top-rated restaurant can hit $500—more if you’re sipping wine pairings.

As with all great inventions that changed the course of history, the MICHELIN Guide didn't start out as the iconic dining guide it turned out to be today.

LIVE IN A LUXURY HOTEL FOR A YEAR
Love the idea of fresh towels and room service every day? Living in a top-tier hotel like The Ritz or Four Seasons for a full year could cost you $150,000 to  well over $1 million if you go all-in on suites, meals, and extras.

OWN A THEME PARK RIDE
If you’ve ever dreamed of having your own roller coaster, it’ll run you anywhere from $500,000 to several million for a single ride. Add a few zeros to that if you're looking to buy an entire theme park.

CLONE YOUR PET
Yes, you can clone your furry friend. Dog or cat cloning costs between $30,000 and $50,000. A horse? Over $100,000. It’s pricey, a bit controversial—but growing in popularity.

BE A MOVIE EXTRA IN A HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER
Most extras can earn a few hundred dollars per day. But did you know you can pay for a walk-on part in a big movie? Movie studios sometimes auction those spots off for charity. Price are anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 (or more) for blockbuster moments.

TAKE A TRIP TO SPACE
Space tourism is finally here—but it’s still for the ultra-rich. A short suborbital flight starts at $250,000. Want to visit the International Space Station? That’ll be over $50 million.

Private astronaut missions are an important component of NASA’s strategy for enabling a robust and competitive commercial economy in low Earth orbit. In 2019,

GET A TICKET ON THE TITANIC II
A Titanic replica, Titanic II, has been in the works for years. While ticket prices haven't been announced yet, you’ll pay dearly to sail on it. Even Third-class fares are expected to run tens of thousands per person, so if you're looking for the full Rose and Jack experience, it's not unreasonable to think you'd be spending $100,000 - or more - for the maiden voyage.

DRIVE A FORMULA 1 CAR
Want to channel your inner race car driver? A one-day F1 experience costs a few thousand dollars. A full private session costs over $100,000. And buying a real F1 car will run you multiple millions, including wild maintenance costs.

BUILD A REAL-LIFE BATCAVE
Secret entrance? Check. Underground garage? Absolutely. A basic high-tech Batcave setup starts at $500,000. Who are we kidding though - if you're building a Batcave, you're going all out. So plan to hand over tens of millions of dollars - and don't forget the salary for your "Alfred."

BUY LAND ON THE MOON
Some companies “sell” deeds for Moon land starting at $30. Though it sounds fun, it’s currently not legally binding, so make sure you do your homework. When actual Moon ownership becomes legal, estimates start in the hundreds of millions for a small plot of Moon land.
