With a little bit of time and effort, you might just uncover some hidden treasure in the form of old memorabilia or random items stored away in your attic, basement, or garage. Whether it's vintage clothing, antique toys, or forgotten family heirlooms, discovering these hidden gems can be a fun and rewarding experience that allows you to connect with the past and maybe even make a little extra money along the way. Here are some examples of items that might be forgotten treasures in your home. SUPER BOWL MEMORABILIA  Paper tickets with a blue or yellow stripe from back in the day can sell between $200 and $1000. But if you have tickets with a white stripe up top, it can bring your total to over $4000! AMERICAN GIRL SAMANTHA DOLL  Samantha is one of the original American Girl dolls and goes for thousands of dollars, especially if she’s still in good condition with her original clothes and accessories. VIDEO GAME CONSOLES  Did you know that video game consoles from the 1980s are worth big bucks? The original Sony Playstation prototype shown here sold at auction in March of 2020 for an incredible $360k. WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE MEMORABILIA  We recently passed the centennial of the 19th Amendment’s ratification, which means “votes for women” collectibles are back in the spotlight. Items from 1890 - 1917 are considered museum-worthy and can bring a high dollar value at auction. FIRST EDITION BOOKS  If you happen to have a first edition of a popular book, you could be sitting on thousands of dollars. VHS TAPES  Although some of the newest generation doesn’t even know what a VHS is, you may want to see what tapes you have in your collection. You could make up to $50,000 a tape! Unpopular movies that never made the leap to DVD or digital, especially in horror, are what to look out for to get that price tag. Movies that have been banned or deemed controversial can also fetch a higher price. When it comes to resale, sealed unopened boxes often double the value, but the retro nostalgia of childhood family nights can bring its own value regardless of condition. LUNCH BOXES

MID CENTURY CHAIRS  Many chair designs of the mid 1900s are fetching a high price.
